I was just looking around and trying to update my profile and I wasn't sure if you had to have your own!
Where can I get an Avatar?

This is how "Overdose" explained signature pictures to me. Avatars probably work similarly..


Go to

www.photobucket.com

Make an account...

Then upload your pictures to that site.

Then copy the IMG code they give you...

Go to Edit Profile on allforums

Then it will say Signature and then have a box. Then you can paste that IMG code they give you into that box....and then you go down and click Submit Modifications.....

And that should do it.

Here's how I do it.

1) I do a Yahoo search for a picture I like.

2) Once I find one, I save it to my hard drive.

3) Then I edit it to make it the right size (80X80 or less) and save as a .jpg.

4) Then I log on to allforums.

5) Click on "USER CP"

6) Then, click on "Edit Options"

7) There will be a button near the bottom that says "Change Avatar". Click on that button.

8) You will see a button that says "Browse". Click that (alternately, if you used Brooks' method, there will be a place to type the URL of your avatar but I've never done it that way)

9) In the window that opens, find the picture that you've selected as your avatar and click on that.

10) Click on "SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS" and enjoy your new avatar.
