What is the deal with these chinese movies with all the stupid jumps, twirls, and idiotic sword fighting.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (sounds like a Siegfried and Roy trick to me)

Iron Monkey (Sounds like a pet name for manhood)

Hero (pretty blan)

This crap doesnt go away!!!!

Why not?

Don't diss Crouching Tiger! Just because it's better than the crap American filmmakers have been making...

I am a great fan of these movies ! Especially "Crouching Tiger" - it has great action scenes coupled with beautiful choregarphy, a complex and epic plot, great actors (especially Michelle Yeoh) and it really makes you dream.
Much better IMO that any other action or fantasy movie from the 10 last years.
I tend to prefer more and more asiatic movies to western ones.

I think a better question would be "What's the deal with all of these stupid American movies?"

I thought "Crouching Tiger" was a great movie. "Hero" was pretty good as well in my opinion.
It's hard to find new movies I like these days...

These are all very good movies. What "good" fighting movies do you have in mind when making comparison anyway?

This crap doesnt go away!!!!

Why not?

Apparently there are a lot of movie goers like me, Lionel, Uncool, Astra....

Hey, those movies were all the rage back in the 70's :D

Anyone here remember "The Five Deadly Venoms"?

::sigh:: The question is "What is the deal with all these stupid movies???" There are so many movies coming out right now and it seems like barely any of them are worth watching.
