Isn't this rather odd?
no it isn't.
Republicans have been trying to build a case against Christine Gregoire, the Governor elect of Washington State, because of "voting irregularities", "illegal provisional ballots."
gee, i think i heard these terms before......
and i think it was last Thursday in the Senate Chambre.
Bush won the Whitehouse with 537 votes.
Christine Gregoire won Washington State with 129 votes.
she will be sworn in as the 2nd woman governor of the State of Washington on Wednesday.
i wish her the best of luck

its funnier that the dems are fine with it after whining about losing by more votes then that in florida and ohio. shouldnt the dems be demanding a revote, so we dont accidientally disenfrachise any voters? or is it OK to disenfanchise voters as long as the person with the (D) next to their name wins? the true colors come out.

Right, and Democrats are apparently OK with having a court's help getting a politician in office despite complaining about it in 2000. Both parties are completely willing to adopt whatever position that will benefit them right now and then argue the complete opposite point three days later.

The first two counts said he won. The third count said she won. Is this best two out of three or pick the one Rolader wants.

Should the dems call the reps " whiners and crybabies" like they did to the dems when it happened to them? NO
Should the reps be the ones making noise if they think there were irregulaities that lost them votes? YES
It isn't about who won or lost. It is about making the voteing system fair for everyone. That means no lopsided counts and no "fixing" machines, no changeing voteing places at the last minute and no dirty tricks. If you can't win fairly you have no business in a political position.

maybe the dems want a world series vote, best of seven counts wins.
