I was reading about stem cell research yesterday. There was a woman who was paralysed from the waist down after an accident. She had a cavity in her back. The surgen took nerve cells out of her nose and filled the cavity with them. Now she can use her back muscles to sit up straight. She can even tense her legs and walk on crutches.
