"Of all the news anchors, columnists, pundits, and reporters whose work we've critiqued and corrected, one stands above all the rest. We're pleased to announce that with at least 75 (we stopped counting) lies, distortions, and mischaracterizations, television host, columnist, radio host, former Inside Edition anchor, man of the people, and Harvard University graduate Bill O'Reilly can now claim the title: 2004 Misinformer of the Year!!! Nice way to use a liberal website to back up what you are saying. No points there.

Actually, I thought Dan Rather would win the awardas king of the lying liars. Seeing as how Rather did use documents that just about everyone knew was fake from the get go to try and oust Bush from the Presidency.

Dan Rather could not be an award winner, He paid his union dues and his money to the democratic party.

Nobody can beat the biggest liar of them all. The man who looked America in the face and showed us doctored evidence that Iraq had WMD and that we needed to overthrow their government by force. It will be years before someone can beat that lie.

yes, and to add to the pack of lies, on Keith Olbermann's broadcast, I heard poor Bill saying his sexual harassment story is "...over and done with and I will never mention this again."
Gee, I wonder why Bill doesn't want to talk about this anymore........especially after paying off the former associate producer at FOX network 4 million dollars in hush money.

Maybe because he is embarrassed and because it is old news and there are bigger fish to fry than a six year old sex scandal.
Interesting how the religious right just can't find it in their heart to forgive him for his errors. Even after he has left office. Possibly because they haven't found a new liberal to hate. Kerry worked for awhile but now that that is over they are shifting their hatred back to clinton.
News Flash - He can't run for predident again. He is not a threat to your evil agenda anymore.

It was just made public a few months ago. Besides, Olbermann has promised to pay this poor lady's 100 thousand $ debt for the "sex tapes."
Gee, wouldn't it be great if the "sex tapes" caused such a stir that all Scott Peterson headlines were replaced by none other than Bill O'reilly?
i can't wait
(yawn)
I agree that the whole Bush adminisration should recive the reward for misinformer of the year. Maybe if Bill O'riely manages to create enough evidence to convince the people that we should go to war with another nation and then he can take it next year. As myself, I believe using doctored evidence which has accounted for over 1,000 lives of brave soldiers this year achieves the title.

No points, eh??
Instead of just bombastically claiming there are ""No points there""-- in response to the facts that have been laid out at the mediamatters.org website, why don't you try to challenge or refute a few of the claims that O'Reilly has lied repeatedly.......?!?!?!?
You don't try to refute any of the facts concerning O'Reilly's lying because you CAN'T refute them.
All you have is your dogmatic rightwing mantra-- "It's all just made up stuff from far left websites, any criticism of a RightWing person has to be a fabrication".

O'Reilly is not a reporter. He is an analyst. His words are merely opinion, usually backed up by evidence. The same thing happens here on both the left and right side. It all comes down to opinion.

No, O'Reilly's words are merely opinion, usually found on closer examination to be completely full of shit.
I direct your attention to the mediamatters.org website should you have the SLIGHTEST doubt of that being the case.

Well, I tried telling you people months ago that Dan Rather didn't procure these documents and did not know they were fake. As today's report shows, he was told by a trusted person in charge of the story (Mary Mapes) that they were legit. Actually, it was not me who was saying that Dan Rather did not intentionally air documents he knew were false...to tie this discussion back to the original topic, it was Bill O'rielly who was saying it then, and an idepenedent panel has concluded it today.

Bu...bu...bu....but.......it makes all the little ConservaSheep feel so goooood to castigate Rather, and to characterize him as some sort of "evil', biased, liberal voice in the world of news and tv journalism.
It helps to reinforce in their minds the idiotic and unfounded premise that the mainstream Media in the US is relentlessly anti-conservative.

I'm sick and tired of you refusing to realize when, and how often, you screw up. Rolader was clearly referring to Bill O'Reilly when you quoted him saying, "Gee, I wonder why Bill doesn't want to talk about this anymore...".
You then responded with:

Do you get it yet, or do you need more time?

Echo, Prae is right...the reference was about Bill O'rielly, not Clinton.
