Well, Christmas is now over. What interesting, exciting, or special presents did you get this year?

I got about $800 in cash, many DVD sets (including Simpsons season 4, Futurama vol. 4, Star Wars box set, and three Monty Python movies), and the Mandrake Linux Powerpack 10.0. That $800 is going toward a new computer which I shall be building very soon (See appropriate thread in the PCs forum). I'm on Mandrake right now, and I only have two gripes: my sound card seems to be giving it fits (the quality is horrible with my MP3s) and Linux tends to have some god-awful fonts.

Are you using XMMS to play your mp3's ?

That's the linux clone of winamp.

I never really liked Winamp. Acually, I'm using Totem, but a short test in RealPlayer G2 revealed the same awful sound. So it's not the media player's fault. I think either the driver is a bit screwy or maybe Linux just doesn't like my sound card...

I got a car stereo, 2 movies, Coyote Ugly and Man on Fire, some candles, pj's, and some other little stuff.

A Day driving a 206 Rally Car
Some funky tankgirl-esque t-shirts
Vouchers/money
a Poker set (chips/cards/table cloth etc)
The usual smelly's such as deoderant sets and aftershave
Some shirt/tie combos and i think that was it.

Mainly the Rally expereince has kept me smiling however and my deranged fashion sense inspiried t-shirts.

A cheese assortment, some sweaters and shirts, and some other small stuff.

4 Polo Shirts
4 Dress Down Shirts
2 Regular T-Shirts
2 Sweaters
3 Pairs of faded jeans
All from name brand stores (::sigh:: such good clothes)

Cut pair of Adidas shoes
MP3 Player
Really nice cologne
And, 120 dollars

Ye gods, OD, did you get enough clothes?! I don't think I own that many clothes in total...

Well I got this really neat pasta cooker that cooks and drains pasta!:rolleyes:

But I did buy myself a house, so I can't complain too too much. I always get myself the best presents!

Many gift cards......which I love....then we get what we truly need!

My brother got me a beautiful spiky Yucca tree in a terra cotta.

Lots of little, new house stuff.

THe girls got everything they need, everyone was so generous to them. Every item of clothing you can think of. Boots. About ten different DVD's and videos.

BARBIES for each girl. Plus way too many toys and candies.....

They wanna know when Santa is going to come again....hilarious!

i got an autographed Peyton Manning helmet...he's a role-model to me.

I got a Mr. Bill christmas ornament, Some PJ's, a basic cd player for my car, some chocolate(yummy...), target gift card, and a little cash.....

im definitely thankful for all i got, and for everything my parents do year-around for me....

I got a new 250 gig harddrive, $40 cash, and $50 in gift cards, the Star Wars DVD set(I had no money to get it when it came out, bad geek in me, bad), Return of the King extended special edition, an OpenGL book, SciFi short stories collection, an awesome Teutonic Knight... doll..., and World of Warcraft(which is why I haven't been on... and why I probably wont be for quite some time)
