View Full Version : New Galaxie Found.
Saw the end of a news cast that said a new galaxie has been found. Man, the possibilities are endless in this space thingy. Makes you wonder if they are looking back at our galaxie.

There are thousands of visible (to the Hubble telescope) galaxies in a patch of sky the size of a grain of sand.

Look at the heavens and the stars for proof of God. They will continue to find new galaxies, they are unlimited. Just as they bible said the can not be numbered, people finally gave up on it.

You never give it a rest do you ? It's like one of those records that are stuck that keep jumping back a few seconds.

It can be trying and I get little rest but it is well worth it.
On another note: some of the new galaxies they have found are unbelievable in their appearance.
Minister, I thought the Bible said something about the stars could not be counted. Do not remember it saying anything about galaxies. They did not indicate at that period of time that they knew stars were suns.
Two shepherds lying on their back looking up at night and one saying "look at all those stars", and the other saying "yeh, too many to count", was not some kind of revelation of great knowledge.

Anyway........
Our Universe (by Universe I mean the fallout from the Big Bang; the matter) is finite. There is a certain number of galaxies, wether or not we can count them all.

and you know there are a certain amount of galaxies, How???
fall-out from the big bang: they do not even know if that is the theory they want to go with, why do you believe the big bang were you there.

Lets not thread jack this minister, create a new thread if you want answers to that.
Dan did they name it at all, just its coming up with too many results on yahoo and that would narrow the search slightly
Not on the part of the newscast that I saw. Thought more info would be available by now, but have not seen anything new.
I guess such discoveries are so numerous these days that they do not get a lot of publicity.
