I know I haven't been posting here for a couple of weeks now. I've just bought a house! Everything has been stood on its head with all the moving I had to do. You really don't know how much stuff you have till you have to move every last scrap, dammit. Now, I've moved and have started getting everything back together. So I'll be back to haunt all of you!

Your hand is probably still sore from signing all of the damn closing papers.

yeh, moving sucks. Sometimes makes a person stay somewhere longer than they should to avoid the moving hassle.

The worse thing about moving is being without cable for a few days.

Thank you guys. This is my FIRST home (actually it's a condo), I own it! I love it, no more worrying about when the landlord will jack the rent, and I can rearange the interior anyway I want.

You're right Lionel, signing paper after paper sucks, and the closing costs were over $5000 to boot. UGH!

Thank you guys again, I love it and Merry Christmas to all!

Good move [no pun intended] Darth ... now work on buying another one and then another one .....

It's the easiest and surest way in america to get rich over your lifetime.

Congrats on your new digs.

Welcome to the land of Mortgage Payments. Featured attractions include a cornucopia of taxing entities, owner's associations, and nosy neighbors.

Congratulations on surviving the torture of closing. Never has my hand shook more than during closing on any of the 3 homes I've bought as the realization of just how much I was borrowing began to sink in each time I was handed another form to sign.
