I say in a major upset, Atlanta takes down Philly and makes them choke for what, the 18th season in a row? And New England learns from the first loss to Pittsburgh and wins the second to go to the big game.

I still say Pittsburgh over Atlanta, and I shall stand by that.

I say its Peyton's first Super Bowl win....and he grabs the super bowl MVP trophy on the way.

did you see the pats choke tonight (against the dolphins)? keep that up, they don't stand a chance.

I think Philly and Pittsburgh are the two best teams this year. Then again, I know that who's hot at the right time means a great deal. Sometimes the wierdest things can turn a game around. A key injury can cost a great team the victory. If all else is equal though, I'll go with Philly over Pittsburgh in a close game.

Not when I wrote that I didn't. But what the heck, I'll stand by it.

Colts aren't going anywhere without a defense.

did you write this before or after t.o. was injured? as of today, he's out for the season (surgery on his ankle).

i totally agree. i think their offense is incredible. but all the offense in the world won't win you the game (without a solid defense).

we dont have a great defense(talkin Colts football here).....but its gotten better. beginning of the season was awful, now we are holding teams under 25 points every game. It may sound bad, but when you have manning on your team thats enough.

And Dwight Freeney is a monster....along with Anquan Bolden.

JennyGadling, I wrote that before I heard. Now the field is more open. Still, one player does not make a team. I'll stand by my prediction.

The "big one" this year will be the AFC championship game. The NFC's best team (Philly) would lose to San Diego, Pitt, Indianapolis, and New England BAD. I can't wait to see the spread on the Super Bowl. If it's below 10, I will be picking whoever is the AFC champ.

I wonder if the Colt's D would have an easier time of it if the Colts had more of a "grind it out" running-based sort of offense. Basically the offense runs out on the field, scores in about 2 minutes, and the D has to trot right back out on the field. They probably never get to rest.

this is true. they probably get more playing time than most teams' defenses

Oh boy, this was the same argument used against the Run and Shoot offense.

Philidelphia will finally win an NFC championship game and follow that up with a Super Bowl Victory over the New England Patriots.

Final Score:

Philly - 31

New England - 27

Ah my young friend. You will remember that New England was without their 2 starting cornerbacks for that game.

Hmmm....now that I think about it, that last post really does make me look like im on crack or something. :D But im too stubborn to change my mind.

Well, I won't lie. Roethlisberger's performance Sunday has me a tad worried. If he plays like he did during the regular season, the Pats are toast. If he plays like he did Sunday, the Steelers are toast.

pittsburg and philly both need to step it up a notch. ben is a rookie; he has an excuse. philly's been here several times and hasn't been able to come away with a win. maybe this past week will be a wakeup for them.

If Rothisburger throws the ball anywhere near the amount he did Sunday, Pitt doesnt have a chance.

They need to do what they do best. Run, Run, Run.

Pittsburgh - 27

(I've got confidence in Roethlisberger and The Bus)

Philly - 24

(just cause they need some dap...3 years to the NFC Championship and they can't win it? I think this will be the year to at least go a little further).
