You know, I find it sort of strange that NASA can't see the surface of Titan. They used a special satallite named Magallian to map the surface of Venus by using radar mapping, Why can't they do the same for Saturn's moon Titan? :confused:

They haven't yet sent a probe with that equipment to Saturn. If the landing goes well, and the surface proves interesting (and how could it not) perhaps that will soon be remedied. One of the things that will be determined by landing is what wavelength the radar ought to use to get maximum reflectivity off the surface. That reduces the amount of power needed to do the mapping.
