I just played KOTOR 2 (knights of the old republic) and it is awesome. Basically, you're an ex-jedi saddled with the responsibilityof saving the galaxy... the game allows you to be a goody-two shoes light side jedi and save the galaxy or be a really evil looking dark side jedi bend on galactic domination. The story is amazing and the characters are well done. I recommend it, and has anyone else played it?

It's not released to the PC until Febuary... Fucking hell... Although, the first one was awesome. Your decisions actually affecting the game could have been done better, is it so in the new one?

Well I liked the first one. It was really fun, untill you beat it and get the crappy ending. On both the light and dark sides the endings suck.

Yeah, you have influence on your team members now, and your appearance is altered more drastically when you go dark side. Cretain feats can now treat cross-skills as normal skills.

KOTOR was a pretty long game and not too much to say about the graphics, but it was a simulation. In all the star war games I've played, it's pretty high up there. I'll rent KOTOR2...Anyone try Battlefront? I heven't heard much...

KOTOR, the first one, rocks! It has a better storyline than some of the movies! I haven't played the first one, yet. I'll buy it once I beat KOTOR I for the second time with the dark side. As far as Battlefront goes, GREAT GAME! Only downsides: some of the vehicles are either WAY TOO POWERFUL, or completely useless! Also, you can't play as any Jedi, unfortunately. Maybe in the next Battlefront?

I just rented KOTOR 2 and liked it alot. It hink I will go buy KOTOR 1 now.

I played KOTOR 1 again and here's my verdict:

KOTOR2 blows compared to the first one.

Why does it blow? Well, for starters you can't have romantic relationship in the game like you did in the first. the game can't keep up with the graphics, and the ending blew massive c*ck. I hope they get KOTOR 3 right. The only saving grace in KOTOR 2 is that there are new abililites, and the lesbian relationships work out (so I hear), unlike KOTOR 1 where you could have a lesbian relationship with one of the most hideous women in video gaming today. It distrubed me greatly.

KOTOR was alot of fun. If you like the KOTOR games get jade empire! The game is very similar in the way they do dialogue trees and character interaction, as well as the good/evil bar. The battle system is real time action and its great! Done by the same team that made the first KOTOR, so check it out!
