Jimmy Walter has spent more than $3 million promoting a conspiracy theory the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States were "an inside job" and he is offering more cash to anyone who proves him wrong.

The millionaire activist is so convinced of a government cover-up he is offering a $100,000 reward to any engineering student who can prove the World Trade Center buildings crashed the way the government says.

"Of course, we expect no winners," Walter, 57, heir to an $11 million fortune from his father's home-building business, said in a telephone interview from California on Wednesday. He accuses figures in government, the military and business of involvement in the Sept. 11 attacks.

"We have all the proof," said Walter, citing videotapes and testimony from witnesses.

"It wasn't 19 screw-ups from Saudi Arabia who couldn't pass flight school who defeated the United States with a set of box cutters," he said. He dismissed the official Sept. 11 commission report, saying, "I don't trust any of these 'facts."'

A rather stupid theory.
If, as the conspiracy theorists believe, 9-11 was a "globalist" plot, these "globalists" must be pretty complicated !
Why would "they" have set explosives and then crashed aiplanes anyway ? They just had to use their bombs and then blame Al-Quaeda.

The major players in setting up 9/11 were on those planes. They needed to be dirt-napped.

The major players are still alive and well, and sitting in the Oval Office.

They are the ones who steeered the FBI away from investigating or hampering with the planned highjackings.

They (the operatives in PNAC) are on record as having wanted a major attack on American soil to take place.

They don't need 'dirt napped', but they do need to be tried (and upon being found guilty, hung) for treason.

There were explosives on those planes. 100,000 pounds of jet fuel will do some very nice damage indeed.

I'll give $10 to anyone who can prove that it was an inside job. I'd be willing to offer $10 million if i could.

I don't know how you could prove it either way. Everything is just a theory.

There's enough irrefutable information THERE to convince any human with a functioning brain that it was an *inside* job.

The best analogy i can come up with for those people who still refuse to recognize that an unbelieveable number of (cough cough) "inconsistencies" surrounded the Bush Administrations actions with regard to the 9/11 attacks are the people who still do not think a man ever set foot on the moon.

all i can say is good luck.....the bad thing about having a gov't as powerful as ours is you never win.

look at JFK...and the overwhelming evidence that he was conspired against by his own gov't.....and all the blocked out print in the write-ups. Do you honestly think the Gov't will reveal any incriminating evidence against itself?

All conspiracy theories have one thing in common (landing on the moon, area 51, jfk....) they are all against the gov't.....and that my friends....is a battle you WONT win.

Okay, i read that. And I did not find a single thing that irrefutably implicates the Administration, the FBI, the CIA, or any other US government entity as being involved in the 9/11 plot. There are a few things that look suspicious but all they do is simply show that the official account may have some holes. From that, it takes quite a bit of corner cutting to conclude that the US government was responsible for 9/11. Just because X is wrong doesn't make Y right; the answer could always be Z.

You will not be convinced, even with a signed confession, it would seem to me.

You might as well up your offer to $1 trillion dollars, because nothing will ever penetrate your preconcieved notion that the government --or highly placed people in it-- was not involved. .
