If you had to choose between saving a child that you did not know or your beloved pet, which would you choose?

I don't care for children. Never have. But I am a big animal lover. Someone once told me that animals are gods angels. They are the only thing other than Jesus that will love you uncondidtionally.

I cannot come up with an answer. Im stumpped !

You're both insane. That kid's mother would kill you (after the inevitable suing, of course). Along with an angry mob of other mothers. It'd be on tv. We'd talk about it in the world news section... Pity about the dog, though.

Not my job to watch for your kid. My pet is something I've made a comittment to -- by accepting ownership, you accept responsibility for that critter's wellbeing.

I need to post a picture of my darling Abby ! Then you would see why I would save her !:D

She is a Lhasa Apso I paid 400 bucks for her plus unlimited supplies and vet bills so I am saving MY baby !

Still looking for the pic if I can't find one here I will post it at work tomorrow I know I have one there. :D

I would save the child. I love my cat, but I think human life is a little more important. Plus, if I let a child die, I would feel guilty forever.

my dogs mean almost as much to me as my kids (ALMOST). when we evacuated for hurricane ivan, my ex-husband, myself, our 4 children and our 2 dogs piled into our mustang and hit the road. if i were choosing between my pets and i child i'd never know, i think i'd die trying to save them both. now if it were an adult stranger, well, my dogs take priority second only to my children. sounds harsh, but our dogs are a part of our family. sorry
