I think the bastard did it, but I do not believe in the death penelty unless there is concrete evidence backed by DNA or eyewitness evidence.
Peterson was found guilty on circumstancial evidence so I believe he should have got life in prison.

I agree that I'd want concrete, physical evidence that Petersen did it before his being executed. Petersen's smirking all through his trial is certainly not the way an innocent man would act, but it's not quite enough to impose capital punishment.
