Any one out there having problems with internet connection sharing stopping file transfers within icq...ie peer 2 peer.....I have three machines networked....if ICS is enabled i cant send or recieve files from ICQ...if i disable it no problems ...i have tried everything i know ...including reinstall of windows 2*....still the problem persists.....The ip,s look fine ..what is unusual though.. is there is no pci bus master option in winipcfg.....only ICSHARE Adapter

Yahoo webcam Supermode has same Problem....Until i disable ICS..then it is fine....It never used to do this....but started about 4 months ago...just b4 i got ADSL....SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP>>>>>LOL....

You need to get a program called icscfg and open port range say from 5200 to 5280
and then alter settings in icq to use specific ports ie same range as the ones opened in icscfg.
Internet connection sharing in windows closes ports that would otherwise be open.
Eg 8000 8001 which makes it hard to get Shoutcast to work
until you use icscfg to open these 2 ports..
