Hello. I have a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from using inhalants also known as huffing (inhaling fumes from products like glue, paint, or any type of gas/solvent) from when I was 12. I have permanent damage to my brain/nervous system, bone marrow (fatty inner lining of bones) and throughout my entire system. (And I'm Not looking for pity, I'm just stating the facts as they are.)

I actually posted on the www.yahoo.com message boards "Dads" Parenting board (especially my 3rd message there) a lot more about my permanent damage and problems from trying to self-medicate from huffing. Please keep in mind that Noone is immune from trying huffing whether from a nurturing household or not, a straight-A student or not. And it only takes 1 time to either die or become permanently disabled from huffing. I'll post more here, but please feel free to look at the yahoo.com Dads message board for my whole message.
