Now suppose you have fought hard by using intelligence and fighting to capture 50 of the terrorist. What do you do now? Well, you put them in a cell as bait for other terrorist to come and kill you to free their team. No kids, daddy won't be coming home.

Would you choose army #1 of good boy scouts or would you choose army #2 of lions that is a winner? Hmmm "Stupid is as Stupid does"

In order for the United States and the Interim Iraqi government to prevail, they're going to have to be able to protect the people in Iraq, without that, the Iraqis will side with the terrorists, if for no other reason than to avoid being killed.

Don't think we can't come up with dirty tricks in Iraq.

We can play dirty as well. We've used a few dirty tricks ourselves. In Fallujah, for instance, there was a general announcement made that food and water would be given freely to the Iraqi civilians stuck in Fallujah. Well, when the Iraqis showed up, they tested the men for gun powder residue, all those who had gunpowder residue were arrested. Kinda neat, huh?

Another cool trick was that the army "lied" to the press and to the terrorists hiding in Fallujah and said they were going to invade Fallujah and such and such a date. The marines held off the invasion for a couple of days and just watched to see how the terrorists would respond. What tactics they would use, THEN the marines stormed the place.

You have a point, the U.S. can't fight terrorists with one hand tied behind our back. If terrorists shelter in mosques, we need to do whatever is neccessary to root them out. If it means destroying the mosque, so be it. There are other things we can do, but you see the point I'm making?

We could treat this question if we looked at it from a different perspective....say like, in the form of a dodgeball game, Jocks vs. Nerds.

Now, naturally, the Nerds (which we would relate to Army #1) are the group of kids who not only fear being bombarded by the onslaught of balls being hurled at them by the jocks because their plastic pencil protectors might break, but even fear to pick up a ball since they might be witness to their thick study glasses falling off their heads and being blinded for the rest of the match.

The Jocks, on the other hand, are literally steroid-pumped freaks of nature with muscles the size of Texas and voices as deep and as intimidating as a soldier in its own. They are able to hurl the balls at break-neck speeds, enough to send any nerd opponent to the emergency ward...or at least, home with a bad stomach ache or headache.

If you're greedy and power-hungry, you'd likely choose the Jocks team. If you're concerned about your reputation around the school, as well as your mission to protect your gel-slicked greaseball for a head of hair, by all means, stick with the nerds!

Apply this to warfare, it could make your decision easier.
