Well, president bush arrived in Halifax yesterday to thank all of the Canadians who helped stranded Americans on the day of 9/11, although it raised the question on everyone's mind:

Where the hell were you three years ago?

Let's go back three years shall we? Back to 9/11. The president is thanking all of the countries that helped stranded Americans that day. But a country was missing from his thank-you speech. What country did he snub? Canada. Forgive me for my opinion if it offends anyone out there, but it seems to me that bush is only attempting to win support from Canadians right now, because he needs help to invade another country he can't pronounce... let alone spell. A few Canadians many have been featured on the US media supporting Bush and calling other Canadians who don't support Bush "communists", but in reality, many Canadians oppose Bush (which is not to be confused with opposing or hating Americans), his policies, and his actions. I believe that this respone to an article was well done and lets us know the real reason behind Bush's trip up here:

Bush is clearly trying to mend some fences. He has also scheduled a trip to Europe for the same reason. I think he may have realized that good relations with the rest of the world have advantages. It is easier to accomplish international objectives when you have friends among the other democracies.

Bush is a good man, but he is a conservative president trying to make his way in a liberal world, which means people try to trip him up every chance they get. He'll either end up on the dust heap of history, or he'll be another Rondald Reagan.
