Its time we moved on.No amount of flag waveing or showing the wtc falling down will bring our friends back. They are gone and gone forever. We all must die some with others and some by yourself but die we must .To keep this going serves no purpose. What we should be doing is see to it that it does not happen again.Or better still why did it happen in the first place.Do people hate us so that they will kill inocent people? We should learn how to love the people in this country than maybe we can tell the people overseas how to live.We have to get over it.LETS ROLL!!!

We cant tell other nations how to live or preach peace to these nations when we are the nation that is killing there civilians. Also the many of the people that live over seas in the countries are nothing but for peace. There religion preaches peace and the meida makes it look like all arabs are terrorist. We must educate our selves on these people before we make a drastic move.

People had family members die in these attacks who were mothers fathers brothers and sisters to these people and you will tell them to forget the loved ones whom died in these attacks? I think we should remember these attacks so they dont happen in the future we can build on the and grow off this!

why does everyone has to either move on or rember september 11th for the rest of their lives. i think each person is capable of making that decision by themselves. should everyone be forced to "move on" just because you think it will help america's economy?

"moving on" won't have any effect on the economy. We need to remember sept 11th, but maybe in a pearl harbor sort of way, the new stories leading up to the 1 year aniversary were rediculous (IE: These kids were only eleven blocks from the world trade center now here their remarkable story). A little bit of Overkill, lets hope that it wont ruin Sept 11th forever.

From an European point of view this debate seems a little bit strange. It seems logical to me that your country needs to remember sept 11th. Nobody can forget such a drama in one year. It also seems obvious that life must go on. The two attitudes aren't contradictory.
But how comes nobody here mentions the necessity to understand how this could happen so that it won't ever happen again ?
One year ago, many european people thought : this tragedy could be the begining of a new era, with a more responsible foreign policy from the USA, and more interest for international matters from the american people.
Instead, we've just seen what could be the begining of a new american nationalism, a society that seems ready to abandon its love for liberty and human rights. I hope the future will show I'm wrong.
