I just heard on the radio that the 82nd Airborne Division is being deployed to Iraq to boost our troop strength in advance of elections there. I wonder if we will be able to successfully hold elections that the people of Iraq and the world believe. I hope we can.
I think soon we must increase the size of the active duty military soon. The deployment demands are becoming too great, and we need more people. I hope that our leaders will soon do that now that the election is over. The big question is whether we will be able to meet the increased recruiting goals neccessary to do that.

it isnt the entire division, its one brigade. and I am sure with the fine recruiting efforts of Overdose and Echo and Dop, and the eviction of recruiters from campuses across the US we will be having a draft in no time. at least those anti gay groups will get what they have coming though!

We should have no problem recruiting enough people if everyone who supodely voted for bush signed up. Remember 51% of Americans supposedly voted in favor of this war. Let them join up. They are the ones that think it is necesary to attack a soverign country that didn't attack us.

Why should we send our young people to die when we have all these so called Americans just chomping at the bit to kill people and start wars.
