So what are your plans for the holiday?

We're driving up to Wisconsin tomorrow for Thanksgiving. And while we're up there we're having Christmas because it's the only time we'll be able to get the entire family together.

I'm going to my Gramma's.....tons of family and good food! Although, some sort of drama always erupts on Thanksgiving....

Oh well...I love drama! :)

We're going to grandma's, too. She lives here in town though, so no traveling for us! Most of my family lives here anyway, so it's no big deal. Tons of good food, though, and I cant wait!!

Yeah, same here. In fact, my grandparents' house is within walking distance, though at about three miles it's a bit far to walk.

A nice quiet day at home. Very glad not to be doing any traveling.

Off to visit my parents in Milwaukee. Many of my siblings will be there with families. We will all go to the Mitchell Park Domes to enjoy the flower displays.

Five of my six brothers and their wifes are coming to my house. I am cooking a turkey and a ham and all the trappings. We are going to eat to much, watch football, shoot the bull and then eat some more!

Almost everything here is opened on Thanksgiving, but with limited hours. Big stores like Walmart, Kmart, Big Lots....

It really sux that so many businesses are choosing to open on Thanksgiving, and other major holidays. That puts the minimum & near minimum wage folks on the job while their bosses sit at home enjoying the day. There's a large segment of society that works 24/7, but not every merchant needs to open the doors ever seeking the almighty buck.

Here Wal-Mart is open and Big Lots was open for a while and some convenient stores, but that's about it. I think it sux though that the Wal-Mart and Big Lots employees have to work on this day.

I spent the entire day running ALL around town doing pet-sitting for all the people who are out of town, having a nice holiday meal with their families.

My Thanksgiving meal was a Lean Cuisine Thai Chicken entree. Woo.
