View Full Version : Dan Rather To Step Down
After March Dan Rather will no longer be the anchor of CBS news.
Glad to see you finally getting some pay back you pios bastard.
I told you face to face in 1979 you were a lying, no good bastard, when you fabricated lies about the Palmer Drug Abuse Program.

Yes Jere I did. In Deerpark, Texas a suburb of Houston.
We had gotton publicity from Carol Burnett when we got her then 15 year old daughter Cary off drugs.
20/20 came in and did a special on us it aired and we got great reviews.
Dan Rather then decided to come with 60 minutes.
The bastard had to do something sensational so, because we had courtesy busses available so the kids could go to the Church of their choice on Sundays(we had drivers to deliver them and pick them up) Dan Rather call it a religious cult. When he said cult everyone started pulling their kids out of the hospital left and right. I was a director of the DeerPark General Hospital at that time.
When I next saw him I told the bastard off for breaking the back of one of the best drug rehabilitation programs there was.
He jumped back in his lemo. and hauled ass like the coward he is.
That was the first up close and personal example I had of how the news could be manipulated for sensationalism.

Regarding the major network news anchors: They seem to all have a liberal point of view, although I do like the major networks news coverage, namely the 5:30PM World News Tonight for example. I don't really like FOX or CNN much because they frequently divert an enormous amount of their coverage on things such as the Scott Peterson Trial, etc.

The reason CNN and FOX does this...is that they have 24 hours to put news into...while the major news station has usually the morning for a few hours, and the night for one.
They can spend time focusing on whatever story is hot....because they have to have something on to fill the time.
