I wonder why when people see a face it's always Jesus or the Virgin Mary. I think it might be Catherine Zeta-Jones!
JJB - I need a ruling - miracle or not?

I mean for being on grilled bread of course ! :)
On the other hand according to the lastest studies Jesus has been revealed as a darker skinned man so I think Mary would have been darker skinned also so the toast lady is a hoax .. What do you think ?

This makes all Christians look foolish. Bidding $69,000 for a piece molded pizza.
Hey, Sandy,
could you give me a link to that cool picture of Michael Moore and his lover.

How do you know its a Christian buying it??? The guy that paid 3.4 million for a chip of elbow from Sandy Koufax's arm had never watched him play before, and was the most uninterested in baseball man, Ive ever seen.

Yeah, and actually all of the bids were anonymous and retracted, so whether or not the person conducting the auction is serious, it would seem that the bidders are not.

Yeah. And a lot of people buy such things just to say they did. The guy buying someone's soul back in 98 quickly comes to mind.
I went out and bought 10 lbs of cheese and 5 loaves of bread as an investment. So far all I have is 1 picture of vile, 2 reruns of andy griffith, and a belly ache from eating all that damn cheese.
Nothing of a religious nature yet to sell on e-bay, darn it.

I wonder if stains on clothes, dried out stains anywhere, patterns on plants...etc etc. would also get good prices. If so...then Dan, it might not be out of the question for a person to make a career simply out of finding such things for sale and live comfortably. For example this cheese would already pocket as much money as a year's work (40 hr/week) for most people. If you spend everyday bumming around looking for such things you just might find 2~3 within a couple months. Then for the subsequent 2~3 years you are on vacation! And you still have the potential to locate even more of these things while on vacation!

I agree.
Christians should stick with the precepts and beliefs that make them seem perfectly rational and sane.
Like believing water can be magically transformed instantly into wine.
And that snakes can turn into sticks.
And that donkeys can speak in human voice.
And that the remains of dinosaurs that scientists unearth are less than 7000 years old.
And that the trillion stars in the night sky were "created" in the twinkling of an eye by some metaphysical being who waved them into existence and set them spinning.
Why would ANY religious-minded person find ANYTHING humorous or unusual about the "Virgin Mary" existing in a grilled cheese sandwich???
It seems to me no more irrational nor preposterous than a number of other things that they believe.

Free you also forgot that the universe just magically popped into existence out of nothing.
and
That lifeless, unreasoning, unintelligent, unemotional matter created complex, thinking, emotional, intelligent life.
also
That it's just a coincident that the universe is balanced on a physics knife edge which keeps earth livable.
Oh wait Christians don’t believe that.
Freethinker it's almost as if you don't believe in God. I've got to add that if there is no God none of these things could have happened.
So the question is; do you know that God does not exist?

Ok. I will.....(being that I find all religions equally irrational).
Here's hoping that my acknowledging that I view all religions equal in *stupidity* (your term, not mine) will somehow salve your tender ego.

No.
But if he did, those who claim he exists ought to be able to provide some scintilla of evidence for said existence.
They cannot.
So, I am still awaiting evidence................

Noticed winning bid was 28,000 dollars.

First, to believe in ANY 'god' , i'd have to be convinced that the supernatural exists.
So....for me to be convinced that it would be possible for your God (or any of the OTHER thousands of gods that man has invented) to exist would require that I be shown a repeatable, scientifcally verifiable instance of supernatural behavior.
Something that defies the laws of physics, gravity, momentum, etc.
