why is it that the dems dont like democracy? not all dems I understand, but the loud mouths among them seem to want us to just appoint their candidate president for life and be done with it. If anyone in this country is going to destroy the institution of voting it is the radical leftists who wan so badly for their candidate to win they are willing to do everything they caan to deligitamize the entire proccess simply because they lost. It seems winning is more important then the system. Constant requests for recounts, wild conspiracy theorys, when will it end? Why must the try and destroy the system becasue it didnt produce the result they wanted? will they be happy when they convince everyone that the reasons they lose elections is because the whole system is rigged?
its because , people are the same all over. if the election had gone the other way, im sure this post could have been written by a democrat. but to say that they dont like democracy is stretching it a bit, but, i respect it travh.

The whole system is rigged trav and if it isn't then why won't the republicans in congress allow a paper trail to prove it isn't?
Forget it -- I'll answer that one for you ... they won't allow a paper trail because it would prove the elections are rigged.

So how long have the elections been rigged? Just since 2000 or before? Will it be possible for a democrat to win as long as the elections are still rigged?
I'm glad you know all this stuff Dop.

Keeping in mind of course that it was the Democrats that insisted that good old-fashioned paper ballots weren't good enough because they were biased against people who don't have IQs over 20.

If you listen, carefully, to the Democrat's arguments, you will find that they worship the law and the Constitution, when it's in their favor. Remember the "Constitutional Scholars" during the Clinton impeachment? Those were the people who would stand in front of some National Landmark and swear up and down that whatever it was the Republicans were doing was wrong, wrong. wrong. The Constitution was, in that case, was worshiped.
Let something in the law or in the Constitution get in the way of Democrats and then they trample all over it. A case in point was the 2000 election. Florida had a law that stated that if a recount was to be done, the ENTIRE State had to be counted. Of course, the libs weren't too happy with that and wanted only Brouward and Palm Beach County recounted.
Another example is the Second Amendment. Geez, if there was one thing the libs wish they could ignore completely, it would be the right to bear arms.

trav, if you were refering to real radicals they wpouldn't care so much about the election because they realize that the system is an inadequte force to create real change.
