One of my buddies just recieved a letter from one of his other friends serving in the USMC as a 1st leutenant in Iraq. The guys a Tank Commander. He says in his letter that his Squadron commander asked him over the radio their bearing and condition, and their conversation went like this:

Commander: Whats your bearing leutenant?

1st Lt: Well sir, I have some good new and some bad news

Commander: Well, lets her the bad news first!

1st Lt: We threw a track and have been cut off from the rest of our squadron, we're low on ammunition, and the insergents seem to be closing in

Commander: Whats the good news?

1st Lt: I just learned that I saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Gieco. :D

When he showed me this letter I was laughing like crazy. :) My buddy says that this guy has always had a good sense of humor, even when they were in college he was like that. I myself think its really cool that he can be in the heat of battle and still have the ability to joke around like that. I wish him Godspeed and hope that he comes home soon, safe and sound!

Who knew we could get such great humor like this from a car insurance company?
