Call me crazy,
Isn't it "ashame" that Carter and Clintons tag team partner is dead???? Who will Time call Person of the Year now? What will Arafats poor bereaved widow do to take caere of herself? Hey, maybe she could invest( with all that money) in a plot of land for the "Palestinians" to call home...... There may be some real real estate available near Fallujah...........low price, only been bombed a couple times.....

I find it so disrespectful to degrade someones death with jokes. He may not have been the greatest person in the world's eyes, but he cared for his country and his people.

Hopefully, he repented of his sins, and is now in paradise with the lord.

Thank you! He may have some some very bad things but he is dead now. Yasser Arafat was important to many people. I would be saying the same thing if it was Arial Sharon or George W. Bush. Making fun of people that just died isn't cool. Hopefully Arafat's passing wil create new opportunities for peace in the mideast. I am sick of seeing innocent people suffer.

You know, why we are on the topic. The way the family of Scott Peterson was treated upon leaving the courtoom was also a sickening blow to me. I could not imagine being a mother or father, walking out of a courtoom shortly after hearing that my son would either be dead soon or be locked away for the rest of his life, and here claps and whistles, someone scream, "I hope youre proud of your son" and cups thrown at me.

Its just not right at all. I wish more people would follow the Golden rule. Do Unto Others as You Would Have Done Unto You.

Unfortunately, that doesn't apply to too many people. More people would rather go by "Do unto others before they do unto you" or "whatever feels good, do it." No wonder why our world is in such a mess.

That's a very good point. Sad, but true.

It really would help the world a lot, if people would just take a short second, and walk a mile in the shoes of that person. I hope these people at the Peterson Trial, and the people slapping the top of the Arafat casket and everything, think really hard about what they have done.

We're not making fun of his death...we're making fun of his death WITH him by our side. Really! He's right here to my right! He says "Hi Jere!"

I hope nobody cares for me or my country in the way that Arafat did for his country and people. He has brought nothing but death, destruction and chaos.

That love, I could do without or anything else he may offer me.
