some years ago I downloaded mozilla and liked it but I think Netscape Navigator rides on top of Mozilla. I found that Netscape worked on more site features than Mozilla alone. But, that was several years ago. I just might try Mozilla again.

I am on firefox now. It uploaded all my addresses, bookmarks, cookies so that Fire fox works just like my old browser from the git go. It seems faster.

I am having a problem viewing movies on MSN. As requested, I updated Multimedia 10 and IE 6.0 and I cancelled all popup blockers but still could not view the video.

Even with Netscape there were some movies that I just had to run IE to see the action.

MSN may have some trick so that you must use their browser to see their online movie clips.

Type "about:plugins" (without the quotes) into Firefox. You should see a list of things, most probably starting with (and definitely including) Mozilla Default Plug-in. Please tell me what all is on this page, titles only (i.e. "Mozilla Default Plug-in", "Microsoft DRM", etc.)

When I installed multimedia 10, it tried to insert 3 trojan horses and I deleted them all. I may need those trojan horses to view the videios.

I reinstalled Multimedia 10 with all the trojans and it still doesn't work. It doesn't even work on IE or netscape.

I never used the movie players before. I just tried it with fire fox because I was checking out the features.

Hmmm...you have all the required plugins for viewing video. (And this Multimedia 10...I have no clue what it is.) Can you give me an example of what is not working?

Multi Media is microsofts media player. It is working now for IE.

This is the same as when I used Netscape. To see online movies, I just load up IE. The rest of the time I use Mozilla. I seldom look at online movies anyway.

I like firefox, it is blazing fast and easy to install. The problems I have are the same problems I have had since day one.

When I downloaded firefox it automatically collected all my bookmarks and what ever else from Netscape so it was ready to go from the minute it was installed.

It is now my main browser.

I do like the history on firefox. I can go back to anyplace I had been in the past few days by using history.

Netscape history was an enegma that I just couldn't understand.

Firefox is the best browser. Very felable, very nice with tabbed browsing, and very convenent. I love it. it's got soem really neet extensions as well

It's a great browser, I had tried it way back when it was first released and it was a whole different story back then. Seems like alot of sites are finally catching up and redendering correctly in firefox these days.
