seems in Philly there were thousands of kerry votes already on the electronic voting machines when the polls opened this morning. seems whoever put them there wasnt aware that the machines number all votes as they are cast, so whoever went first didnt get ticket number 1.

somebody went in and entered thouands of votes for Kerry before the polls even openend. it wasnt a case of early voters, it was unacounted kerry votes already on machines when the polls opened this morning.

This might be about the same thing. Hard to tell though.

All I said was exactly the story I heard on the radio which was that Bush votes were already on the machines before the polls opened...I don't know why we both heard different stories, but lose the idea that I'm just making something up to contradict you.

I don't think Trav was saying that YOU'RE making shit up. All he meant was that the story you heard doesn’t surprise him: a liberal (the author of the story) was purporting that the impropriety was on the side of the republicans after the story already broke that the wrongdoing was the responsibility of some liberal wackjob. It's a classic example of accusing your accusers of the same thing, that's all.

But you see, I heard the story being reported on 2 different radio stations (which are definetly not liberal) and the story was that the votes were for Bush. Not that I really care because its not relevant to the outcome, but thats the way it was reported to me.
