Wrong, Back in Black by AC/DC was 21 times platinum, and I think Shania Twain (ick) got a 20 times platinum album.

I am a big fan of doowop, not the Lauren Hill doowop but the stuff from the fifties and very early sixties.

I just subscribed to xm satelite radio because they have a great fifties station.

I am such a nut about doowop that I spent over a year looking for a copy of, Bad Motorcycle, by The Storey Sisters, AKA The Twinkles.

i dont like the radio much these days; i think im getting old :@@:

the who, pink floyd, dylan, radiohead, talking heads.

some random, "nobody" bands (though i think they broke up [?]):

http://www.myspace.com/harvestquinnband

saw them once or twice a couple years ago.

i was also a fan of the now defunct stone temple pilots before they hit it very big.

hmmm...who else. some jackson browne. mamas and the papas. i like classic rock and folk (mostly). i dont listen to any of the "kid's" stuff (i.e. rap or dance). i dislike most country, except some alt rock/country like wilco's former band, uncle tupelo, is pretty good. too bad they broke up. what is it with alt country/folk bands breaking up??? i guess there isnt a big market. cant make a living.

well, you asked!
