Is the most perplexing and aggrevating obstacle in evolutionist thought finally gone?
A short article on it (http://www.embl.org/aboutus/news/press/2004/press28oct04.html)

Very interesting. Now for the work of verifying this theory. If true, there should be similair molecules in all sorts of other creatures with eyes, unless all of those eyes arose in seperate ways. I would like to see research from birds and other mammals at least. Also some reptiles have eyes.

"By studying a 'living fossil,' Platynereis dumerilii, a marine worm that still resembles early ancestors that lived up to 600 million years ago."

This fossil is way older than any mammal, reptile, or any vertebrate or insect. In fact all the animals with eyes must have a common ancestor similar to this.

I hate to be a nit-picking asshole but ALL reptiles have eyes

Nit picking appreciated. I thought there were some reptiles that did not have eyes, but I was mistaken.
