Kerry 51, Bush 48. The deciding factor will be new, unpolled voters. Attacks decrease in Iraq. Insurgents go underground awaiting withdrawals.

I'll agree with the Kerry 51 and Bush 48 part. But I think the insurgents will try and force Kerry out by increasing the kill ratio.
Whoever inherets this mess is going to have problems. We allready know that it doesn't bother bush that half the voters are against the war so his policies most likely wont change. He doesn't have to worry about getting us out of Iraq in the next 4 years because he can't run for re-election.
Kerry is going to have to make some tough decisions that will make him unpopular with a lot of democrats. But if he doesn't get us out og this mess in 4 years he most likely wont be re-elected.

It will suprise me if Bush doesn't pull out ahead.

We all know bush will do ANYTHING to win. we just haven't figured out what he has planned this time. It can't be just the below attempt to circumvent the process.
2 Judges Bar Party Challengers at Polls
By TERRY KINNEY, Associated Press Writer
CINCINNATI - Two federal judges Monday barred Republican Party representatives from challenging the eligibility of voters at polling places on Election Day.
U.S. District Judge Susan Dlott said that a black couple suing over such challenges would probably be able to prove them unconstitutional. In a similar case in Akron, U.S. District Judge John Adams said it is up to regular poll workers to determine if voters are eligible, not party member challenging other voters at the polls.

I got an eerie feeling that Kerry will win popular vote and lose electoral vote.

I have no idea how it will turn out. It could go either way.

How do we "know" this? Is it the instructions to claim that voters were intimidated, even if there's not evidence of voter intimidation? No, that was the democrats manual.

Unlike past elections long ago, no one really knows what's going to happen today. My prediction: Kerry 52, Bush 47, with Kerry taking both electoral and popular vote. The difference? The new voters and the strong Anyone But Bush camp.

Okay, some objective predictions:
Kerry will win: 51%-48% with a significant electoral win.
We will know the winner by midnight Pacific time.
Bush will win Hawaii.
Dino Rossi will be the next Governor of Washington State.
Tom Daschle will lose his Senate seat.
Patty Murray will be re-elected to the Washington State Senate.

I think Leonard Peltier will squeak out a narrow electoral victory
