The other day when my parents and I were heading back into our *beautiful hometown* (a.k.a hick country) in Arizona, I saw a peculiar billboard:

Now, I haven't visited the website because, well, I'm too lazy :). What does it mean though? Why is the U.S. supposedly trying to get out of the UN? Or is that just a fake billboard?

i see it as a step toward going against world gov't. the democrats probably splooge at the thought, i would rue the day.

If we ever left the corrupt UN, it would probably be a good thing...but then again US politics is corrupt..so which is the lesser of two evils?

If you do visit the web site, you will find out it is sponsored by the John Birch Society. These are right wing extremists, who believe the U.N. is controlled by a Jewish Conspiracy to dominate the world. The Rockefellers are in on this conspiracy, and they believe the holocaust during WW II was all a lie by the Rothschild's. Of course some on this forum may agree with them.

There are people who have gotten out of satanism and the occult who have exposed the Illuminait and their plans for world domination. When I studied man's religions I did quite an extensive study into the occult. True some attempt to worship satan, but on the most part I found people that were close to nature. Satan was no part of the practices. The moon, sun, earth, water, wind were suposedly spirits that could be used to help people. I found that those practicing were average people that you might come into contact with on any given day and not know. Tarot cards, candles, incense, bells, were all utensils in attracting the good spirits to accomplish good things.
Some were fanatical just as I have studied fanatical people in most other "religions".
But in general the people I met are good hearted, intelligent, people searching for the answers to lifes questions.

It is still accomplished by demons, but is used to decived people. Many who practice white witchcraft think it is a good thing.

Many people are searching for something to belong to and be apart of, which is what often gets people lured into the "occult" trap. For certain, some of them are good hearted people who mean well in life.

Bullshittyo! The only satanists are those in any of the churches of satan, or the ones in your mind. There is no giant conspiracy against your church and your church only. There are the black arts, but they have nothing to do with satan, since they have nothing to do with the bible.

The occult is nothing more than any small or underground religion. It spans so many religions full of their own nuances that it can't be clumped into one group. Yule was supposidly celebrated by King Arthur and was a very very popular holiday in England many years ago. It is the middle of winter. Uh, nothing more. Imbloc is groundhog day, and they mean the same thing. Ostara is the middle of spring, supposidly when the planet's gravity is in perfectly balanced. Beltaine is the start of summer. "Litha" is midsummer. Lughnasadh is the ending of summer, the time of harvest. Mabon is the second harvest, and when the day and night are the same amount of time. And Samain(Whoo, today!) is the final harvest, middle of fall, ending of the year, and, in far far more magical religions, when the spirit world and our world are closer together, and crossing the astral planes is possible. Now, why are all of these celebrated? To slaughter animals for satan? No, they're times of harvest and planting. They're important to the smaller religions because that's what they're based off of, the simple farming life. Much of which your religion is based off of.

J Man, the deception you speak of by Satan is mainly found in one religion, Christianity. As far as witchcraft being forbidden again this is in reference to the Christian Bible. Many people do not believe that the religions arising out of the Middle East are the true answer. The references you make to what Christ and God prefer are merely the repeat of words printed in the Bible.
When I write I try to remember to include the words "I believe" at the beginning of a statement. This gives the notice that I am writing something that I have read or experienced that may or may not be completely true because some things are from books, or others experiences and cannot be completely proven. I try not to state things as a "truth" that are handed-down from others when there is a possibility that they are wrong despite my complete belief.
