It seems someone has mislaid 58000 absentee ballots in Broward County, Florida. They were part of 60,000 ballots supposedly mailed out, but have not been delivered. Here is a link to the BBC news item.

Once again the results in Florida could be open to question. This needs to be addressed before the election. If it isn't, a court challenge seems likely.

They're in the same place as the 380 tonnes of missing explosives.

"It looks like they're trying to steal the vote again," said Diane Glasser, vice-chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party.

Ah excellent - unsubstantiated attacks will certainly help sort this problem out.

Look at the examples of their party that post here on this site and I would say, like them, the lady is just following examples set on high. Wonder if "Wild Man" Gore will suddenly pop out crying, "Told you so!!" anytime soon.

The people that comprise the Democratic party have been taught for years now the old adage of "its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease". Do you really expect them not to bitch and whine over something like this?

something doesnt add up....if Iraq was supposedly harmless like Kerry and the dems make it out to be....then why did they have 380 tons of explosives to begin with? Is Kerry going to change his stance AGAIN? what would that be...stance #13?

and both sides are desperate to get back into the white house....but the desperation has to be running a little higher on the democrats side.

Havok, you forgot to mention they dismiss you as crazy if you expose them, as our esteemed friend Mr overdose has done

Expose us? Yes, he sure exposed us! The fact that I’m upset that 58,000 ballots our missing in Florida…when last year was so hectic is totally exposing us!

Any true American should be sickened that people are trying to take away people’s right to vote.

Prove it! It must be a Republican plot! No, it must be a Democratic plot!

How come neither side ever wonders if some temp worker forgot to press the "print" button or something? The idea that either party would intentionally do this and think they could get away with it is just too silly to believe. And yet everyone believes it!

This has to be the most idiotic election in history.

Disclaimer: I'm in a foul mood tonight.

These are ballots that had already been voted on....

And they are missing and or were never turned in.

How do you explain that? If someone had "lost" them and wasn't doing it on purpose, they’d admit it and take blame. But no one has. Which thus means, one party is doing this...
