Man i am so glad the Red sox didnt pick up ARod. Man did he show his true colors. It seem she just cant handle the pressure of playoff baseball, b/c he only performed when they were blowing the Red Sox out those few games. Other than that, when they really needed him, he flat out choked. Did you see game 6 i think when Bronson Arroyo struck hm out in a critical situation with mediocre stuff? Come to think of it Sheffield choked too..Exactly like he did with the Braves last season. Some players just are not cut out for the pressure of Post Season baseball.

In MLB, people do go on slumps. It's just that the playoffs is the worst time to go on a slump. Since every player does on them, any team cannot just depend on a few superstars. Also, when playing the Bosox, they yankess were up against good pitching.

So how about all the other players the Yanks picked up this year...don't they deserve the choking hands as well?
