I was just thinking....if and when Kerry wins, what kind of stunts will Bush pull during his lame duck period.
We have already seen the stupid things he has allowed himself to do when he had to worry about what the public thought...but then if he was a lame duck, hed have nothing to lose.
That would be a scary couple months.

The U.S. could soon be ruled by super-intelligent cyborgs....or failing that, actual ducks:)

If it's anything like Clinton's last 2 months in office, be VERY AFRAID.

You people really think that Bush is motivated by malice, don't you?

yes dave. in the liberal mind there is no such thing as good and evil, except for when it comes to bush. hell, they cant even bring themselves to say the tterroirsts are pure evil, as one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, but George Bush, now he is evil, and dangerous.

I'm sure the first thing Bush will do is to pardon all of the racist redneck southerners who perpetrate racist hate killings on a daily basis.

He will do the same as he has always done -- nothing will change.
He'll ignore intelligence, refuse to read his daily presidential breifings, let another 9/11 happen, take care of his saudi and oil buddies and never admit a mistake.

I am not so sure that he will pardon anyone, because I dont believe he ever accepted any appeals of the death penalty as Govenor, so it seems like he doesnt have a huge forgivness bone.
Although I am scared to see what kind of bills he would sign or suggest to his republican controlled house. With his unwillingness to ever admit a mistake, I am worried as to see what he might pull.

To get an idea of our faux presidents ideals....
He refuses to allow a few cells from a terminated pregnancy to be used for stem cell research and he says it is because "All life is sacred". Yet he supports the death penalty and refused to stay any executions as governor of stupidville. He sends our troops to be maimed and die in a war of choice. Obviously his "all life is sacred" quote should have been "Only life that I choose is sacred".

the fact that you equate death row inmates with the only truly innocnt among us, that being the unborn, is sad and scary. the fact you still cant seem to lose your feeling that soldiers who volunteer for the military are victims, and stupid ones at that, is also sad. go hold a candle for a murdering death row scumbag and fight for the right to kill a child at the drop of a hat. maybe you should rethink your prioritys.

Just because I love pointing out how blind certain liberals around here are (Echo and jerebinks), Bush has stayed an execution before.

And yeah, comparing babies to death row inmates is a stretch, for most of society.
And for those who have forgotten Clinton's last acts as president:
A good example of the prevalent corruption of Clintonism occurred during the last 48 hours of President Clinton's term, when he cut a deal with Independent Counsel Robert Ray to save himself from indictment and disbarment, and also issued 140 pardons and commuted the sentences of 36 other individuals--"us[ing] his waning power to bail out his friends-and infuriate his enemies . . . less than an hour before work crews arrived to rip up the Oval Office carpet," as Newsweek reported. The recipients of Clinton's clemency included brother Roger Clinton, former business partner Susan McDougal, and fugitive commodities trader Marc Rich, indicted in 1983 on 65 counts of tax fraud-whose wife, conveniently enough, contributed substantial sums to the campaigns of Clinton and his Vice President Al Gore.3
she wasnt comparing babies to death row inmates, she was talking about his morality hypocrisy. you guys take things and twist it so fast.....she was just making a point, not so much a comparison. and she made her best point comparing the soldiers dying. we know that because they are soldiers, they are there to protect us, but our service men and women should be used like a fire alarm, " in case of EMERGENCY break glass " she's saying that for all the morality bush talks, he didnt have a morality problem sending our men and women, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, into a war that we SHOULDNT BE IN.....and that jackass knows it. no matter how much he puts a spin on it, its WRONG @!!! and if you have a morality problem with death, it should be all death. i mean, he's like the right to lifer , who kills the doctor !!

The term ALL means ALL, EVERYONE, not just those who meet certain criteria. If he wants to make the statement "all life is sacred" and then start attaching exceptions then he obviously doesn't believe ALL life is sacred. Is he a hypocrit or a liar?
The only life sacred to him are stem cells from induced and naturaly terminated pregnancies. Once a fetus becomes a person he starts making exceptions to his "all life is sacred" crap.
Bush and his dealth cult are hypocrits and liars.

Conservatives live their entire lives with the sole purpose of killing the less fortunate, women and anyone that doesn't hold the values of the rich white man's world -- especially if that person can stay in the sun more than 10 minutes without SPF-32.
LOL
And they don't care how the killing is done ... death penalty, illegal invasions and wars, starvation, AIDS, torture ... whatever.
The scary part is they claim to be religious yet "Thy shalt not kill" just doesn't ring a bell.

Dop You sure are making a lot of racially motivated statements these days. Considering you have posted pictures of yourself showing you to be white, are you so filled with self loathing? Or maybe you think you're "different" than other white males.

Due to the conservastives drastic swing to the right these past few years, the liberals are assured of 64% of the female vote, 95% of the ethnic vote, 100% of the homosexual vote, 65% of the under 25 vote and all of the intellegent and informed vote.
ROTFLMAO!
I have 9 emploees working for me, three of them are hard core, redneck republicans. They say things like "Kill dem ragheads" and other hatefull slurs. These are uneducated, unenlightened people who would vote for a republican no matter what. Probubly cause their pa did and his pa did before him. "Aint no use gettin all worked up and readin the paper, I'z a republican and proud of it. GW is a republican and dats alls I needs to know."
Pathetic
" Leftism is not a political belief, it is a religious faith to its followers. It is a man-made religion designed to overthrow God. Like the rebellion that occurred in Heaven before it, the leftist religion is based on lies and deceit – its first victims are the perpetrators themselves." - Whittaker Chambers i like this, but it seems to pertain more to the right. we have a war, and no one republican can see the wrong in it.....UNLESS IT WAS DONE BY A DEMOCRAT ! that is the very essence of the above statement

For whats its worth, Im far to the left, and Im a devout Christian.
ConservativeMan
10-14-2004, 09:49 PM
that is an oxymoron, you cant be far to the left and still do the will of God. If John Kerry gets into office then we will have more criminals on the street, a larger welfare state, and abortion will be the state program on eugenics.

You can be far left, and do well with God. Religion is not to be combined with the Government. And John Kerry understands that there is a separation of church and state. John Kerry understands he can’t force his religious views on Americans who do not share the same faith has him. I suggest you take America 101.
