I am writing a research paper for my english class on online dating. I was wondering if possibly anyone could help me with something. If anyone has used online dating services I just need to know why you decided to use it, if its been sucessful for you at all. For anyone who hasn't used them, your overall opinion of them could even be helpful to me. Why do you feel they have become so popular ect. Thanks a lot.:D

Yep - that's where I met my wife. :) I think it works because with a few clicks of a button you can eliminate people you're not compatible with without having to date them.

I met my fiance online. Not through a dating service , but i think it works. You can find out a lot about someone before you actually have to go on a date with them.
