Man, tonight I was running late for work and was running a wee bit above the speed limit, when I suddenly hear a loud BOOM come from under the car, I locked my elbows in an attempt to stop the car from swirving out of control and looked out the rear view mirror for a break in traffic, when all I see is all of this debris trailing the car. I eased on the brakes and pulled over to the shoulder only to find my whole left front tire shredded in pieces  . One thing for sure, in the few minutes it took for me to jump out, look at the tire, and pop the trunk to get the doughnut spare, the highway minutemen were already pulling up behind me. They sat there with me watching as I changed the flat, and yelled "Good Job" as I threw everything back into the trunk and pulled off. :) I even kept a piece of the tire to show to my boss so he'd know why I was late. First I get a slow leak that I just had repaired in the right front tire, now the left one blows..I think its time for a new set of tires all around..brand new this time!! :drive:

Hmm, remind me to grab a piece of tire off of the road and carry it around in case I'm late for work. :p

Let this be a lesson to everyone: Replace your tires if they're looking a bit bald, and always keep 'em inflated. Very very dangerous if your tire blows...Dunkirk luckily did the right thing in EASING to a stop.

10 points for knowing what to do to avoid a serious accident, 50 more for knowing how to change a tire properly.
