Both great recievers, but who is better?

that is tough man. they are both really good, but both have problems. OK, everyone knows moss has been known to take plays off and sham, when he plays to win though, he is unstopable. Owens has a good work ethic but his hands are not that good. they both are known to short arm passes over the middle. In recent years Moss has calmed down a lot, and his por attitude has seemed to be replaced witha better team attitude and work ethic. Owens hands seem to have not gotten better over the years. Advantage RANDY MOSS

I'd have to agree with that. Two years ago the answer would've been TO, but Moss has been getting better attitude-wise lately.

I'll go with Owens. He'll have a career year. Only because he's on my fantasy team.

I'd say the best receiver for a team isnt Owens or Moss....but Marvin Harrison.
Now i realize that "OH OH OH"....the two loud-mouthed bragging duo Moss and Owens had big first weeks....woop dee doo.....while they are good receivers, neither is good for their team chemistry, because neither ever shuts up about themselves. I like Harrison, who is quicker than moss and owens, has surer hands than moss and owens, and last but NOT LEAST......HE SHUTS THE FUCK UP AND JUST DOES HIS JOB!!! LOL.
Plus....the indy colts have a much better receiving core than the vikings and the eagles....so look for Harrisons stats to go down a bit. Manning throws to everyone now.

Which is good, because I have Reggie Wayne on my fantasy team.

Hear hear! Loud-mouthed athletes are my least favorite people. Moss and TO are self-absorbed asshats...of course the list does not end there. Keyshawn...Sapp...the list goes on.

These two are very talented recievers and its tough to choose between them. I would use the same logic Travh did and come to the same conclusion: Moss
However, if this question were who is the best reciever in all of football I would definately go with Marvin Harrison. The best hands in football and classy as well. When you are as good as he is, your action speaks instead of your mouth.

When you get paid as much money as these people do, anybody is likely to go over the top to show their "superiority." Every player does it, or has done it. Keyshawn and Sapp are great examples of this. But going between Moss and T.O. I've gotta pick T.O...at least Moss has never pulled a sharpie out of his shoe and signed the ball to give to an agent in the middle of the game, or think that celebrating with cheerleaders DOESN'T bring out his feminine side. Besides, I think T.O. may have a greater intimidation factor, but Moss is able to move around the field a lot more.
Basically in short, I agree with Travh.

True, but once the Vikings get Marcus Robinson warmed up and in the mix, I think they'll be unstopable through the air.

so far this year owens and moss have gotten SO much face time....meanwhile harrison has 17 catches while Owens and moss only have 12 each.

because Culpepper and McNabb throw to people other than their WR stars.

i dont know about that one.....Manning throws to Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Brandon Stokely, Marcus Pollard.......i think Harrison is just better at getting open. He's definitely the best route-runner in the league.
In other words....i dont buy the excuse.

In other words....i dont buy the excuse. Sorry Silver, gotta agree with Decka on this one. Payton throws to every other receiver on the field in his offense. IMO Harrison is just the best receiver in football.
But opinions are what they are. Just my .02 cents. :D
