Apparently this is the third time someone's been able to get into the palace. Either security's not their strong point, or people just don't like the queen.

Point of interest: If it was the White House, batman would've been shot before he touched ground on the other side of the fence. Why the difference?

Becasue the queen doesn't have any actual political power.

There is no difference. According to the article, if you read it, the Brits would have shot batman if he had been judged a security risk. Americans adopt the same standards when they decide whether to shoot, they don't shoot anyone who wanders onto the White House lawn, per se.

That's funny. I guess he was looking for some attention, and he sure as hell got it!

i heard about that on The Daily Show. not sure how dressing like batman and standing on a ledge at buckingham palace would help him get custody of his kids, though...
