Shiny! Didn't know onions could be so pretty on the outside. Looks like Rusty Bird is working on some kind of camoflage, though... :)

Yes do, this place needs coloring up.
Box, what's funny about the bird is when I took it I had no idea that would later happen to him, I just liked the way he looks.
Those are all old, from April/May. I notice you are all looking, so maybe I could show more recent? I was lucky to witness some killer skies this year, while camera was within reach.

It's becoming clear to me that my skills as a gardener are severely lacking.

Your pictures are just beautiful - are those taken with a digital camera or do you have nice equipment you use? Whatever you're doing, way to go! :)

You really made my day!
I have been using a Sony Cybershot 3MP DSC P52. I've had it about a year, and I LOVE it! It makes great 8 1/2 by 11's which I print at home on an HP Photosmart 7760. The clarity on the printouts is by FAR sharper than you can see here. Both are pretty nice, but I have visions and daydreams about being able to afford the finest equipment, and the travel.
Some gals I know like to shop for shoes, which I also do, but nothing gives me quivers like finding great photo paper in bulk at Costco :D
(i also do non flowers shots, my phase before flowers was old old barns. i have lots of misscellaneous, and tons of the kids. I should show you the one of the bunny-nest I found...)

hehe. I don't Garden either, that's Nana's craft.....i just photograph the results.
These are bunnies found in the cedar bushes in the spring. 2 days later I went back to look and they were gone!
Bunnies for everyone!

This nest fell out of a tree into my driveway, nearly beaning me.
The egg was empty, and I kept the nest on my porch railing for awhile.
