The real Spin Zone is Fox News

Fox News does nothing to encourage the candidates to get to the real issues that people really care about, but only repeats the Republican rhetoric that has so far dominated this election. How can Senator John Kerry discuss the issues when G W Bush and Karl Rove (his campaign strategist and the person who manages the White House's Office of Political Affairs and Office of Public Liason) continue to release attack ads and refuse to engage in more than three debates? Bush has spent much more time and money talking about Kerry than he has spent talking about his own agenda.

Kerry has focused on the issues during his rallies and in his book "A Call To Service: My Vision for a Better America." Sadly, the media chose to ignore those messages. Instead of using the majority of it's time to criticize John Kerry, Fox News could have mentioned Bush's apparent reluctance to discuss the issues.

Reporting and publishing can only become further politicized as more independent media outlets are bought by conservative corporate interests dedicated to pushing their own agenda. It is widely known that the Fox News Channel, the New York Post, and the Washington Times are nothing but parrots of the ultra-conservative agenda fraudulently posing as legitimate news sources.

Now, I agree with Fox News that it is high time to start discussing the issues, but the Republicans need to begin discussing those issues with the Democrats and the media must report on that discussion in a fair and unbiased manner.

"I don't think you can win it (the war on terrorism)" ~ G W Bush (what a dunce!)

Do you have any evidence whatsoever to support your contention?

For example:

What issues, that "people really care about" is FNC refusing to cover?

What is the "ultra-conservative agenda" and what documentation do you have that FNC is a part of it?

FNC covered the Bush quote you posted ad nauseum just like all the other networks.

What does FNC have to do with Bush releasing attack ads?

How come Chris Wallace, Mara Liasson, CeCe Donnelly, Juan Williams, Greta VanSusteren, and Alan Colmes, all contributors to Fox, are not pictured on your anti-Fox graphic?

Why are you so threatened by 3 media outlets, which admittedly do lean toward the right, when the left is supported by ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and most urban newspapers?

I have a hard time believing that Fox news is single-handedly preventing Kerry from getting his message out.

I don't really see Fox News as being conservative like people keep claiming. They are just as good or bad as the other channels. However, one thing that has bothered me about Fox is how much more sensational their stories are. Like this morning they were going to a commercial and they showed live video of the Florida coast line and Sheppard Smith said "look at those waves and those clouds...very ominous". The waves were just like the ones I see here on the Oregon coast...very small and calm, and the clouds were just average white clouds, yet for some reason he called it "ominous"...why?
