Hope so. The whole 'life on Mars' saga is getting kind of old.
BTW, if you want to help out the good people at SETI, go to http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/

Part of me kind of hopes there really are aliens and other civilizations out there...
I find the search for E.T. pretty interesting, but I kind of wish the scientists would work on something a little more important. I mean, if I were as smart as those people, I'd work on finding a cure for aids or something more substantial.

I think this was the case that the head of SETI called all hype and no science.

Hype is good. Hype makes us go buy movie tickets.
Daft Gypsy - So far as working on something more important goes, maybe they're just not interested. There are lots of people smart enough to be doctors who choose not to be. I know one who decided to be a hairdresser. :)

Yeah, thats one of those things that may never be answered.
That will be the category that gives Ken Jennings on Jeopardy the fall.....theyre going to be like What Turns a Girl on for 1000....and Ken will be like

yeah, whatever makes them happy... but still, it's a pity. I would be a crazy-good scientist if I didn't have such and issue with math. -_-

I've been keeping my eyes and ears open for any more reports on this, and so far I've heard nothing. But for me, I'm more than sure that we are not (cannot) be alone. With all the stars, planets, galaxies, universes, and only God himself knows what else floating around out there, for anyone to even remotely believe that we on earth are the only life forms in existance has got to be very nieve. Even though I can't prove it, Ill bet that there are more life forms floating around out there that there are actual stars themselves
One day...we will know for sure :alien:

I would not be surprised if somewhere, probably far off, we found some kinds of life.
I dont think there is any intelligent life though, like as in martians or other types of humans or anything though.

"How to make Girls Happy"
Tell ya what .. don't wait until 3814, find and study the device shown (http://www.moviemail-online.co.uk/stars/1537;thispage=2) in "The Sleeper". Build some. While that may not be the entire answer, it'll be way ahead of diamonds - be assured of that!

The people who got excited from this must lead boring lives. *Yawn*

Every time a new flavor of Mt. Dew comes out, I run to the store full speed.
Does that sound like a boring life?

LMBO,
Sounds better than reading emails for a living. ;)
