It seems if elected, kerry and the EU would offer Iran a deal, allowing it to keep its nuclear reactors if they turn over all its imported nuclear fuel. People are still tryng to figure out why the country sitting on top of the greatest energy reserves in the world need nuclear reactors, and we all hope this deal would turn out better then a similar deal struck between N Korea and Clinto, with Jimmy carters help, we all know how that turned out.

Why not just put up a big mall in Iraq that says: Gand Opening! We sell bombs, RPG's, Machine Guns, and, for a limited time only, NUKES!

Fuel grade Uranium is not the same as weapon grade Uranium, and Fuel grade Uranium cannot be used for weapons. Nuclear reactors generate far more energy will less waste, I say good for them if they are using nuclear power instead of oil power, one of the most polluting forms of energy.

Actually, we should let them build nuclear power plants. Iran will then be invaded and shut down by Greenpeace.

Trav, not really all that similar. Kerry is telling Iran to give up all of their current supplys of uranium and in return they get nuclear power plants. All Carter did was tell North Korea to stop their nuclear weapons program and in return they got money, aid, and a nuclear power plant. The uranium we would give Iran could not be used in weapons, and we will take their current supply of weapon grade. We aren't helping their nuclear program, and the only way they could continue it would be to get uranium behind our backs, which is possible.
