Well, the olympics have came to an end, and it has left us with such great memories.
Michael Phelps winning 8 medals, the womens beach volleyball team, the American wrestler walking away from wrestling, leaving his shoes on the ring, that amazing south korean ping pong guy (wait, did I just hear that on the radio?).
So what was everyones "one shining moment?"

I was introduced to a sport I've never heard of, women’s handball. The final game between Denmark and Korea was very entertaining. FYI Denmark took the gold 38-36.

I think swimming was very exciting throughout. However my favorite event was the men's 10000m. The Ethiopian man who won gold ran his last 400m in something like 53 seconds. After leading almost all the way through 9600m, he had enough gas left in his tank to run 400m in 53s. That was sick. Many fairly athletic people can't even run a fresh 400m in 53s.

Ethiopians live all year long at an altitude of 2000 m. That helps (having climbed stairs in Addis Abeba I can swear it's a good training !)

I love the American Softball Team. It's too bad that they may take it out of the Olympics, just because they are so damn good.

Did you all see where the guy from Brazil was leading the Men's Marathon race with like a mile to go, and the priest jumped and tackled him.
He gets back up and finished third for the bronze.
