What has happened to rock music today? What has happened to awe inspiring lyrics with great guitar solos to chime it all in. It seems that now a days you listen and every song is say 3 or 4 minutes long all about the same emotions and blahdy fricken dah. this is not to reference to all music of course(such as the new tool cd in the works!!) but to the mainstream rock most people listen to.

I agree. Modern Rock, with a few exceptions, is unoriginal and uninspired. Maybe Rockstars dont do enough drugs.
