Yeh, but GM is not.

The population is more parnoid than ever. A corporation dasn't offend anyone for fear a herd (gaggle?) of lawyer appear demanding they cease and desist. If the litigators aren't the first to show, then it's the tree huggers, the animal right's nazis, or some other group claiming to defend something. Now they're treading on childhood imaginations of perhaps someday driving a wonderful sports car.
It's a damn shame GM had to pull the ads.

Worse yet, they have bank vaults. Wallets are too small.

you might as wel pull all car ads that feature any form of speeding, (whether it be in the country or the city) since that might cause adults to want to drive really really fast as well. Better yet, if they want to have a "safe" commercial, just have the car sitting in a parking lot. We will observe the features and appearance ourselves.
