YES!
I have been following this too, and I think it is so cool!.
It is neat that they cannot actually see them, but know they are there by the amount the star that they orbit dims when they pass on this side.............a very slight amount
they also know it is there by the slight wobble from the pulling of the planets
Man they are far!!!

Do you believe in ET life, Creetwins?
Cool, a question for me :)
Well I think it is egotistical to think they we on Earth are the only prototype for life.
Can I say that "yes for sure there is other life" no I cannot.
But I do think the probability is great. Look at the math. The size of the universe outside our solar system. THe number of Stars that have planets. Who's to say? LIfe does not necerarily mean sophistcated intelligent life. There could be fungus or slime or bacteria type organisms.
Why not? Chances are there are, and from their point of view, would't we be ET?

I hate to bring religion into this....I just think its strange that you believe in the possibility of other life in the universe, but you dont believe in God.
Anyhow, I agree that there may be some kind of microscopic animals living out there...and didnt they find a worm on Mars? I might be wrong, but I could have sworn I read that.

I'm not sure how they're related? If they believe life on earth could exist without God, then certainly life on some other planet could exist without God.

I see your point.
I guess in my mind I'm thinking, if their oh so great logic wont allow them to believe in God...but it will let them believe in ET's.....just kinda strange.

JJB, I don't know where you get your info.......you are referring to me like I belong to some out there anti-God cult. Who is "them". Who are you clumping me in together with? Who said I don't believe in God?
I don't "believe" in ET's. I believe in their probablitiy., Like I said, I do not claim to know, I have never seen them.
What do you mean"oh so great logic" What do you have against intellectualism, I detect a hint of hostility.
Funny you are starting to come off as somewhat of a buzz-kill. Turning a really exciting topic into some kind of religious finger-pointing, and some kind of out there classification.
You really got me all figured out don't you.
The belief in a supreme being is not a monopoly held by the Christian religion.

Just to make it clear that I'm not answering for JJB here. But there are clearly a fair number of people on this board that seem to think believing in God is a sign of incredible stupidity. And their "if only you were smart like me" attitude irks me. That being said, there are a fair number of Christians on this board that think not believing in God is an incredible sign of stupidity too, so it's a two-way street.

Let me clear this up a little bit.
I was referring to your non belief in Christ.

I am referring to the people who think their personal logic is above having faith.

No...I know nothing about you, other than your beliefs on Christ, Aliens, and Ebay.
I dont mean to kill such a "exciting" topic...but I did find it odd.

I think that the belief that "I'm right and you're wrong" is a sign of incredible stupidity, no matter which side of the argument you find yourself on.

I'd prefer you didn't. There is another forum for that.
It is a little tactless, and goes to show that your beliefs lead you to make judgement calls that are inappropriate, and this is certainly not the place for it.

Please explain the connection between Jesus Christ and the possibility of the existence of aliens.
