I read in the paper, that since the ultrasound generation, about 70% of aborted fetuses are female. The normal male to female birth ratio across the world is 105 males to 100 females. In some areas of China that has escalated to 130 males to every 100 females. Dsclosing gender via ultrasound has since been outlawed, but there are still ways to find out (bribe).

So what is going to happen? What good is the preferred male son, if there are no ladies to procreate with and pass the family lines?

This is a crisis brought on by their own male dominated society, and the one-child laws......doesn't leave much room for variety does it?

Hm, interesting question. What happens when the male:female ratio is adjusted and there are too many males? Would they share females? Would they war with each other and fight over females? Would certain males establish dominance, and the "lesser" males move on to other projects?

Also maybe a change in attitude towards wishing for girls instead.

Those Chinese have too many people anyway, that's the reason why they have the one child law and that's the reason why there are less girls now! It's as simple as that, once China's population decreases because of absence of females they'll get rid of the one child law and then everything will right itself.

You know this is an interesting subject. I have an interesting view. You see that this is a government that has rejected the western ways, though western ways are upon them, they try their hardest to keep these things and philosophies under the strictest of scrutines.

Now with their policies of forced abortion, the state has become the murderer. The main policy is that men are only to join their military, when the great capitalist nations come under the subjection of the proletariat, they need the largest standing army to occupy and control these nations. Women are seen as weak and inferior( but you can bet that those little women olympians from china will be seriously disciplined by the Party for their failures at Athens).

This can only logically lead to a couple of senarios, one that there is going to be a lot of homosexuality going on, this would be forced and there would be a lot of disease. OR there would be more men to one women, that means that these poor girls would be having more and more children under dangerous conditions.
