My vote came down to a dead heat between Inside Politics and Crossfire both of CNN.

I went with Crossfire because each of the four debaters have such character, depth, and intellect from different areas of American politics. They never get anywhere with their arguments, but at the same time get their message a long way.

And no one covers an issue more throughly than the four of them.

But anyway,

What is your pick and why?

You're more than welcome to change it, being as though it wont let me edit it.

I voted Crossfire. I regularly watch Inside Politics, Crossfire, and H & C (as well as Washington Journal when I don't have school). H & C is fun but only for its entertainment value. It's like political pornography, ie:Sean Hannity raping Alan Colmes in the ass. While Alan Colmes is a moderate liberal, Sean Hannity is almost a fascist. It's about as balanced as putting a fat kid on side of a see-saw and another kid in the middle.

Now crossfire is a REAL debate show. Paul Begala and James Carville are hella cool. I also really like Tucker Carlson, who is really more of a libertarian than a far-right republican. It's kinda sad watching him force himself to defend Bush when you can tell he doesn't really like him. Now I agree Jon Stewart on Bob Novak, he is "the biggest douche in the universe".

I agree about Tucker....I have always felt like he is not a big fan of Bush's....he seems to me like he is a Nader guy...always talking about how he will attend the independent canidates convention no matter what, always agrees with him too. Well atleast "a lot" of the time.

Paul is my favorite...he is cocky withou being a brag. I like James very well too, because of his accent. I also heard he married a Republican....so he must deal with a lot in life. His wife at hom, and Bob Novak at GWU on the set of Crossfire.

Bob Novak is my least favorite also, but I do reserve a tender heart for some of his sarcasm. He is also coming around a little on Bush's numbers (especially when hes on Inside Politics via satelite.)

Like yesterday, when he finally admitted that Bush has an uphill climb to win back his posistion.

To extend my last post, my only beef with crossfire was the democratic primaries. You could tell that Carville and Begala were Kerry supportors so while Carlson and Novak were bashing Dean from the right, Carville and Begala were letting them, even helping out sometimes! They have both said on the show that they hoped Dean wouldn't get the nomination and I think it's ver irresponsible when they claimed they didn't favor any candidate in the primaries.

I don't watch any political programs on TV... Maybe I should start. It's just so hard keeping up with the few shows I do watch; I'm not exactly looking to add more.

Speaking of The Bush Doctrine.....there are plenty of Republican-"badasses" (out there) who know how it works, but still can't recall what it's actually called.

“Less taxes and more war,” he said, smiling. He said the U.S. should “bomb the hell” out of Iran because the country threatens Israel.

Asked by the interviewer how America would pay for a military confrontation with Iran, he said the U.S. should take the country’s resources. “We should plant a flag. Take the oil, take the money,” he said. “We deserve reimbursement."

A few hours after the interview, an unknown woman helped herself to Schwartz’s resources."

FREE LEVI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If we can’t, after all is said and done, make this election go the right way, at least we can save one man. I’m talking about young Master Levi Johnston. He’s the 18-year-old Alaskan hockey enthusiast who knocked up Sarah Palin’s daughter, and the National Enquirer describes him as “a boozing pot-smoker who doesn’t want to get married."

And remember, Levi: California knows how to party. Trust me, the girls out here are going to love a big, high-sticking farm boy like you. If you play your cards right, in a couple weeks you could be screwing the lesbian right out of Lindsay Lohan."

I'm with Trav on this one.

John Stewart's The Daily Show is the best politics program on TV.
It's incredibly left-leaning, but is entertaining and humorous.
And John Stewart invites politicos and celebrities from all sides of the spectrum on for interviews, and he interviews them fairly and with respect.

Good job by him.

PS Shaman, shut up already. You're such a pissant.

Ah, this is an outstanding development.
This revelation would seem to indicate that you are not some sort of spambot, but rather a real human being with an actual job.
(And I had my doubts for a long while, believe you me.)

Please tell us about your job where you generate all this income, and by the way, what sort of leadership or management experience you have while you are at it.

You are such a judge of other's fitness to lead.
Please tell us about your credentials as a leader and/or manager.

Thanks in advance.

If The Daily Show is incredibly left-leaning, then you must be farther right than Justice Scalia.

If The Daily Show is incredibly left-leaning, then you must be farther right than Justice Scalia.

I prefer to think of myself as a centrist and an independent.

I detest abortion, but believe it is a necessary fact of life and should be legal.

I'm strongly in favor of the death penalty for convicted murders, rapists, and pedophiles.

I own guns for my own defense, but I rarely want to shoot anybody.
Sport shooting, if responsibly conducted, can be an enjoyable endeavor.

I don't hunt or kill animals, but I sure do enjoy a nice steak every now and then.
And if somebody else takes a deer, I like it when they pass on some venison jerky.

I believe in a strong, modern, and well-equipped military.
I'm in favor of the current all-volunteer Armed Forces, but understand why keeping the Draft registration going is a necessary thing.

I think gays should be allowed to serve openly in the Armed Forces, and I think 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' is a shabby, shameful compromise & a ridiculous policy.

I have voted for Democrats for President, Independents, and Republican candidates too.

I drive responsibly, never use a cell phone while driving, and I ride my motorcycles with all the appropriate safety gear on.

I know that speaking and writing proper English is both an art and a science. And some people will never, ever get it right. Some people strive to become educated and successful, while others watch Jerry Springer during their time off from working at Burger King. Such is life.

I love sex, and believe that it is a wonderful expression of love between two consenting partners.
Marital infidelities (and I engaged in plenty during my first marriage) are a sad fact of life, but are not that big a crime in my view. Unless you are an elected official, school teacher, college professor, prison guard, or drill sergeant. In those cases, you should be held to a higher standard than everyone else.

I believe in personal accountability, personal responsibility, and swift justice.
I believe we have too many lawyers in the USA, and too few doctors, nurses, and teachers.

I donate all year long, to accountable, responsible charities. But I don't do cash handouts.
If a guy or gal are pandhandling for money, I won't give it to them. But I will offer to go into the store and buy them some food.

I believe in small State Government, and even smaller Federal Government.

I believe that there is good in this world, but there is also evil.
And you are a sucker if you think all humans are born basically good, and that only tragic circumstances make them do bad things.
Some people are just plain evil from the start.

So yeah, I am neither left nor right.
I'm right there in the middle.
(Right there in the middle with deadbolt locks on my doors, and guns at the ready if I ever need them.)

I think Rachel Maddow is the best political news show in American media right now.
