If your counting on polls to predict the election.......I got some oceanfront property in florida.
These polls take a snapshot. A snapshot in time, a snapshot in location.
This is going to be a very interesting election. I believe that we will have record turnouts from both parties and that means that anyone else on the ballet like senetorial races, even local stuff is going to get a higher turnout also.

Here's the real picture and you can see that Gallup, partner of CNN and FOX, is the only poll out of 15 that has bush above 50% and that is not unusual. Thay are always alone on the outside.

Wow, a sitting president and he only has a 50% approval rating. When I was in school, 50% was flunking.

Kerry is drawing crowds of 25,000+ just about everywhere he goes. Bush can't even get 5,000 to show up in the same towns. 'Splain that.

probably because most of the people voting for him dont have jobs and expect him to keep the gravy train rollin' so they show up since they have nothing else to do but wait for the next check

It just gets annoying sometimes when you try to read what he posts, and it’s hard to understand. Plus, his cases would be made oh-so much better if he would spell check his work. The sad thing is, the way you word, and your spelling does count in terms of an online forum. So sometimes people get annoyed, that’s all.

Just because an insult comes from a particular side of the political debate doesn't make it any nicer. Both Liberals and Conservatives fling insults and then bitch about the other side doing the same thing. I wish you people would stop being so hypocritical.
Another thing to think about: Do you remember what our moms always told us about how two wrongs don't make a right? It's true.

I agree, the job situation has sucked during the last 4 years.

Right on, DF96. For 8 years the Republicans criticized Clinton while the Democrats bitched about it, then for the last four years the Dems criticized Bush while the Republicans bitched about it, and you can bet that if Kerry wins the Republicans will go right back to criticizing and the Democrats will yell at them to stop. Both sides can dish it out but the can't take it.

Bwaha someone agrees with me! I am the goddamned voice of reason... Excuse me for bragging, but I think I am one of the few people on here who can post something that doesn't lean left or right in the politics forum. That's not to say that I don't have my opinions, obviously, I just know when to assert them and when they would make me look like an overly partisan jackass.

I don't have a problem with people being partisan, but there is a difference between being partisan and being a hypocrite.
